DV or Mini DV digital tape is an excellent way to preserve your precious audio or video recordings for future use. Practically no compression or losses - the highest quality replica of your material.

From this format you can still edit the material, or make new master copies to DVD or other format. Even if you don't own a DV machine you should consider ordering DV or Mini DV copies of your transfers. This is a good way to very accurately preserve your material to be later edited or enhanced using other technologies. We can record and play both standard DV and Mini-DV cassettes in SP mode, and play both large and small DVCAM tape cassettes.

In addition to your regular copies to DVD, CD, etc., all formats can be transferred to DV or, Mini DV cassette tape. This tape can be used as a master for duplication purposes, uploaded to a computer for editing, (taking out unwanted parts, adding titles and/or music/sound, etc.) or simply stored as THE master tape.
